SRCS Legal
Privacy
Statement.
How SRCS collects, uses and protects personal information.
Your Data
Clear. Necessary. Responsible.
SRCS uses personal information to organise racing, manage registrations, communicate with drivers and operate the championship and event platform.
Who Is Responsible For Your Data?
SRCS — Sim Racing Championship Series — is responsible for the personal data that SRCS determines how and why to process through this website, Race Hub, registrations, events and direct communications.
Privacy questions or requests can be sent to info@srcsleague.nl.

Why Do We Use Your Data?
SRCS may use personal data to:
- Process championship and event registrations

Our Legal Bases
Depending on the processing activity, SRCS relies on one or more lawful bases under the GDPR.
- Contract or pre-contractual steps — where data is needed to process an entry, organise participation or deliver an event or championship.
- Legitimate interests — where reasonably necessary to operate SRCS, maintain sporting records, administer the community, prevent misuse or improve operations, provided those interests do not override your rights.
- Legal obligation — where records must be retained or processed because the law requires it.
- Consent — where you have actively chosen to receive marketing or where consent is otherwise required.
Marketing Communications
Where SRCS asks whether you would like to receive promotional communications, that choice is separate from your ability to race or register.
You may withdraw marketing consent at any time. Marketing messages will provide an appropriate way to unsubscribe where required.
Who Do We Share Data With?
SRCS only shares personal data where this is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
This may include:
- Racesquare where information is required for venue, simulator, race-control or event operations
- Website hosting and infrastructure providers
- Database and cloud-service providers
- Email and communication providers
- Professional advisers where reasonably necessary
- Authorities or other parties where disclosure is legally required
Current core technical services used by SRCS include Vercel, Supabase and Resend.
Public Racing Information
SRCS is a competitive racing platform. Certain sporting information may therefore be published as part of the normal operation and history of the competition.
This can include driver names, teams, race numbers, results, standings, race statistics, event participation and championship achievements.
Private contact details such as personal email addresses and telephone numbers are not intended to be published through public standings or results.
How Long Do We Keep Data?
SRCS keeps personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or where a longer period is required for legal, financial or legitimate record-keeping purposes.
Operational registration and contact information will normally be removed or minimised once it is no longer required for the relevant event, championship, follow-up, payment or administration.
Sporting results and championship records may be retained for longer as part of the historical record of SRCS.
Marketing contact information is retained until consent is withdrawn or the information is no longer reasonably required, subject to any record SRCS needs to retain to demonstrate previous consent or opt-out.
International Data Processing
Some technology providers used by SRCS may process personal data outside the European Economic Area.
Where this occurs, SRCS will rely on an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism or safeguard required under applicable data-protection law.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request:
- Access to your personal data
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Objection to certain processing
- Withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent
Requests can be sent to info@srcsleague.nl.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Cookies & Website Technology
SRCS may use technical website functionality necessary to operate, secure and deliver the site.
If SRCS introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking technologies that require consent, appropriate choices will be provided and this statement will be updated.
