TEAM FORMAT
ONE CAR. ONE TEAM.
Each entry consists of:
- One car
- Two or three registered drivers
- One Primary Contact
The Primary Contactis SRCS's main administrative contact for the team.
Official team communication, including the payment request, will therefore be directed primarily to this person.
All registered drivers will also be invited to the event WhatsApp group.
THE CARS
GT MACHINERY
Teams select one GT car when registering.
If your team needs to change its selected car before the event, contact SRCS.
ON TRACK
PRACTICE & QUALIFYING
Practice is intended to give each team an opportunity to prepare before qualifying and the race.
Teams should use this time to familiarise drivers with:
- the selected car;
- simulator controls;
- pit entry and exit;
- driver-change procedures;
- braking references;
- race conditions.
Qualifying will determine the starting order.
Teams should plan their driver order accordingly.
PIT LANE
DRIVER CHANGES & PIT STOPS
Driver changes form an important part of the Spa 3H format.
This provides sufficient time for drivers to safely leave and enter the simulator and reduces the incentive to rush physical driver changes.
Be careful with and mindful of the Racesquare equipment when entering and exiting the rig during driver changes.
Detailed pit-stop and driver-change procedures will be included in the Final Race Pack and explained during the mandatory drivers' briefing.
ENTRY MANAGEMENT
TEAM & DRIVER CHANGES
We understand that circumstances can change.
Teams may update their driver line-up and other team information up until:
Please notify SRCS as soon as possible if a change is required.
Late changes must still meet the normal event participation requirements and may be subject to operational limitations on Race Day.
PAYMENT
ENTRY FEE
Payment is not required at this stage.
Approximately 10 days before the event, SRCS will send one Tikkie payment request to the team's Primary Contact for the full team entry fee.
The team is responsible for deciding how that cost is divided between its drivers.
Payment will be due approximately 7 days before the event.
CANCELLATIONS
REFUNDS
Teams may cancel and receive a refund up until:
After this deadline, entry fees are non-refundable.
Driver changes may nevertheless still be made until 12:00 on Race Day.
COMMUNICATIONS
STAY CONNECTED
All participating drivers will be invited to:
This WhatsApp group will be used for fast operational communication before and during the event.
- Race Day reminders
- timetable updates
- check-in information
- operational notices
- last-minute changes
- Race Day announcements
Important formal information will continue to be communicated by email to the team's Primary Contact.
SPORTING
RACE CONDUCT
The Spa 3H is intended to provide competitive endurance racing while maintaining a safe, fair and enjoyable environment.
Drivers are expected to:
- race fairly and respectfully;
- follow instructions from SRCS and Racesquare staff;
- respect other competitors;
- use the equipment responsibly;
- attend the mandatory briefing;
- follow all Race Day procedures.
Further race regulations and procedures will be included in the Final Race Pack.
SAFETY
DAMAGE & RECOVERY
If a car is damaged in a way that makes continuing or safely re-entering the circuit dangerous, drivers should use the available reset, teleport, escape-to-pits or equivalent recovery function where appropriate.
Drivers should not attempt an unsafe recovery simply to avoid using these functions.
Further guidance will be given during the drivers' briefing.
